Mountain summer

Families spend valuable time together at the Prinzenberg Natrun with great playgrounds, animals to pet and cuddle as well as the forest slide park and the forest ropes course with guaranteed fun. Alpine golf courses invite you to play a few holes against a fantastic mountain backdrop. And if you want to see the beautiful landscape from above, take to the skies with the Eder paraglider.

On the trail of herbs

The herb pastures of the Hochkönig region are unique in the whole of Austria. This is not least due to nature’s cornucopia of lush herbal treasures. For example, 16 mountain pastures have specialised in herbs. You can learn all there is to know about these precious plants on a herb hike. Exciting herb workshops teach you how to use herbs to make delicious dishes and aromatic teas, healing ointments and high-proof spirits. And anyone who diligently hikes the herb pastures and completes their herb passport will receive not only a wonderful experience but also a great gift!
