“Family” means everything to me. At the moment, we are watching spellbound as our little Sepp(i) discovers the world around him. On 1 January 2018, Tanja and I embarked on a very special chapter of our lives, with the birth of our son on New Year‘s Day. In late October, we tied the knot in a church wedding, expressing the ultimate commitment to our family.

Every day, I see myself in my little boy: a pint-sized explorer, showered with love from parents, grandpar- ents, uncles, aunts, friends... a wonderful way to grow up. We want to give him roots and wings - the gifts that were also given to me. When life throws you into a storm, it is important to stay grounded and strong. Especially during times of turmoil, it helps to have both feet firmly on the ground. But I am just as grateful for the creativity and the wings that I received... so many things are easier to judge if you take the bird‘s-eye view.

I am particularly proud that we are given the chance to show our grandparents and parents just how much good their hard work and dedication has inspired in all of us, and that their heritage is being passed on through the generations. I would like to thank them for the sense of unity and support in our families - a source of pride and gratitude for me.
